About

Fashion Forward Future is a youth-led movement which aims to encourage sustainable fashion practices among young Malaysians and provide economic empowerment to women in the B40 community. The project aims to educate young people about the problems associated with fast fashion and how they can become more responsible consumers.

Due to the fact that teenagers and young adults are the primary consumers of fast fashion, it is important to educate them about sustainable fashion. The responsibility of promoting sustainability falls on both the fashion industry and consumers, but our primary objective is to inform young people about ways they can support sustainable fashion, such as by shopping at thrift stores, donating used clothing, purchasing from local sustainable brands, and repairing or repurposing damaged clothing.

Fashion has the power to change the world. Let's make it sustainable and ethical.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a world where sustainable fashion is the norm, and fast fashion is no longer a threat to our planet. We envision a future where the youth are leading the way in creating a sustainable and equitable fashion industry. Through education and empowerment, we strive to divert people from fast fashion to something equally trendy yet sustainable, making sustainable fashion accessible to all.
